How we work with Lexus
Lexus uses Denso control units like Toyota, so the approach is the same: reading via OBD, on the bench or in boot mode, depending on the unit. For RX, IS, GS, LX and other models we first identify the unit version, and only then decide what can be done.
For Lexus, the usual jobs are emissions-system deletion with the related fault codes cleared, mileage correction and immobilizer removal after a unit replacement. Hybrids such as the RX450h are a special case: their output is limited by the drive layout itself, so we discuss the realistic result in advance. We save the original firmware before any write.
